This weekend's storm brought more snow to ski resorts in our area.

According to Palisades Tahoe, over two feet of snow fell, bringing the season's total to 423 inches.

The average yearly snowfall at Palisades Tahoe is about 400 inches of snow.

The spring event, "The Cushing Crossing," has been postponed from May 4 to May 11 due to the new snow.

"The Cushing Crossing" is a pond-skimming contest where participants attempt to ski or snowboard across a pond while wearing costumes.

For more information about the event, you can visit the Palisades Tahoe website.

This year, Palisades Tahoe will be open through Memorial Day.
