Firefighters in the Plumas National Forest Beckwourth Ranger District are planning to conduct pile burning on Wednesday, February 21.Â
The burning will take place about two miles north of Delleker and one mile north of California State Highway 70.
Smoke may be visible in surrounding areas, especially in the early morning and at night. Firefighters will be monitoring the smoke and may implement traffic controls if needed.
Drivers in or around the area are advised to use caution and watch for increased firefighter traffic.Â
