I have practiced law in federal, state, county, and city courts covering civil and criminal cases since 2011. In my practice, I have represented and opposed individuals, small businesses, large corporations, cities, and governmental agencies. I have been leading people and teams in the private and public sectors since 2003.

WHAT IS YOUR TOP PRIORITY IF ELECTED?

My top priority is reducing recidivism.

IN JUST A FEW SENTENCES: WHAT DO YOU BELIEVE IS THE BIGGEST PROBLEM FACING PUBLIC SAFETY IN CARSON, AND HOW WOULD YOU FIX IT?

The biggest problem facing public safety is substance abuse because it so often leads to other crimes. As District Attorney, my priority would be to tailor outcomes that address combatting substance abuse when appropriate, with an aim to reduce recidivism. I am an advocate for problem-solving courts such as drug court and mental health court because these programs save taxpayer money and reduce recidivism at rates greater than anything else.

I grew up in Carson City and am running for District Attorney to ensure experienced leadership, principled decision making, and trust in our District Attorney’s office.
