A man charged in connection with a Fentanyl overdose death will spend at least 10 years in prison.Â
Joseph Rose Tyler Maciel V was sentenced last month to a total of 25 years in prison after being convicted a on second-degree murder charge.

A Silver Springs man has been arrested, charged in relation to the death of another man in a December 2023 drug overdose.
On December 11th of 2023, Lyon County Sheriff's Office Central Command Patrol deputies responded to reports of an overdose at a home on Citrus Street in Silver Springs.
When they arrived, they found 22-year-old Michael Fernandez, who was ultimately pronounced dead according to a release from the Lyon County Sheriff's Office.
Toxicology results in January of this year showed Fernandez died of acute fentanyl intoxication. An investigation was launched to find the person who provided Fernandez with the fentanyl that took his life.
The investigation identified 32-year-old Joseph Rose Tyler Maciel V, also known as Joseph Tyler, as the person who sold Fernandez the fentanyl.
On Wednesday, April 24th the Lyon County Sheriff's Office Special Investigation Unit pulled over Maciel and found him to be in possession of a small amount of fentanyl.
Maciel was arrested and in an interview admitted to selling Maciel fentanyl, the Sheriff's Office release says.
He has been charged with making available controlled substance which causes death and possession of controlled substance schedule I-IV (Fentanyl).
His bail has been set at $102,500.
