Two people have been arrested in Mineral County after 60 pounds of methamphetamine was found during a traffic stop on Friday.
The car, a black 2020 Chevrolet Malibu, was stopped for speeding and deputies became suspicious after speaking to the people in the car, identified as Cameron Miller from the state of Washington and Kiez White from Oregon.
Miller, the driver and registered owner of the car, permitted Mineral County Sheriff's Office deputies to search the car and during that search they found the methamphetamine, which had been placed in several hidden compartments in the car.
They also found two loaded guns and a small amount of cocaine, according to a release from the Mineral County Sheriff's Office.
The DEA website shows the estimated street value of the methamphetamine is more than $2 million.
Miller and White were both booked into the Mineral County Detention Facility.
