With Easter Sunday just a couple days away, many will be heading out to brunch with their families.
Most restaurants will likely be busy, but Two Chicks says they are more than ready to handle it.
"It's kind of just another Sunday," said Rhiannon Finley. "I remember when we first opened, we would serve one hundred people and be like oh my gosh that was the hardest day and now that's literally nothing. But I think it's just going to be another Sunday."
The Two Chicks in midtown has been around for about 10 years while the one in South Reno has been around for about four.
While both locations have a constant flow of business most weekends, there is still a lot of work that goes into making sure the restaurant runs smoothly come Easter Sunday.
The team will overstaff and have an all-hands-on-deck approach to deliver that.
"Preparation for how much food we're going to need and large orders," Finley said. "Making sure we have the special ready and things like that. Making sure that we don't overbook. I just want to make sure the customers are happy."
Finley says they opened the location near Meadowood to help alleviate the traffic at the Midtown location, and they have more space for bigger parties.
"This one blossomed opening, absolutely," Finley said.
Finley's mother, Haley, is a co-owner of the business, and she's been working on and off for about ten years there.
"My first position was actually dishwasher, to hostess, expo, busser, server," she said.
Finley says her mother and coworkers make it all worthwhile.
"It is like my family. I'm glad that I can come in here and I'm very happy and comfortable with everybody. It does feel like a family, it feels like a very big family. I love everybody that works here. I love my mother. I love that she's, my boss. It's definitely the best parts about the job," said Finley.
The restaurant says they are pretty booked out for the holiday, but they said it doesn't hurt to still try and call to make a reservation as cancellations happen all the time.
