The Washoe County Sheriff's Office SWAT Team received some extra training recently.

Team members ran slow search scenarios and room breach tactics at the old Hug High School, had target practice at the Regional Public Safety Training Center and performed field work with the RAVEN helicopter.

The WCSO SWAT Team trains on a regular basis so it can readily respond to any situation at a moment's notice.
