The Nevada Highway Patrol (NHP) wants to warn drivers to clear snow off the tops of their vehicles after the recent storms.
They said drivers must clear their cars of snow before they travel.
NHP says drivers can be held liable for crashes caused by falling snow off of their roofs.
While we have seen a lot of snow piled on top of vehicles, this one takes the cake. It cannot be stated any clearer: Make sure you clear the snow from the surfaces of your vehicle BEFORE you hit the road. You can be liable if it falls from your vehicle and causes a crash. pic.twitter.com/uduP6BR1lK
