North Valleys High School will move to the 3A classification in all sports, while Wooster football will return to the 4A beginning in 2018/19 school year.
Those two decisions were made at the NIAA board meeting on Monday.Â
Wooster's football team has competed in the Northern 3A ranks for the past five seasons, while the rest of the schools athletic teams have played in the Northern 4A.
North Valleys has played in the 4A since the schools inception early last decade.
A decision on whether or not the Northern 4A will join the 5A classification beginning in the 2018/19 school year could come at the NIAA's Winter Board meeting in January.Â
