Northern Nevada, Utah BBBs Merge to Create One Organization

The Better Business Bureau of Northern Nevada, Inc. has merged with the Better Business Bureau of Utah, Inc. to become one large regional organization.

The BBB says boards of both organizations approved the consolidation earlier this year. The merger officially went into effect on June 30, 2018.

The new organization, Better Business Bureau Serving Northern Nevada and Utah, Inc. will have its headquarters in Salt Lake City and an office in the Reno area.

Timothy Johnston says he will lead the outreach and communications efforts from Northern Nevada while Utah's Jane Driggs will continue to manage current services, including BBB Scam Tracker and investigations.

"BBB will now have the resources to be out in the community, helping businesses and consumers each and every day in the enlarged service area," says Johnston.

Driggs adds, "With this consolidation, BBB will be able to provide more services to the public (consumers and businesses) than before. The continued increase in scams and fraud makes to the BBB even more important today than when established more than 100 years ago."

The BBB also has offices across the United States, Canada and Mexico.
