REMSA says they transported one person to the hospital following a crash in the area of East 8th Street and Virginia Street.
The Reno Police Department (RPD) says the crash was between a car and a bike.
They say the crash happened around 4:15 p.m.
RPD says the bike was traveling against traffic in the middle of the road when they crashed with a car.
They say the bicyclist sustained minor injuries.
RPD says the bicyclist was luckily wearing a helmet.
They say the bicyclist is an adult, though they aren't sure if it was a man or woman.
RPD says the bicyclist will be sited for violating the right of way.
They say drugs, alcohol or speed to not appear to be factors.
