The Division of Parole and Probation is looking for a man who hit two people with a hammer in Wingfield Park in 2016.

Investigators say 25-year-old Victor Magallanes hit a man and the man’s 14-year-old nephew with the hammer after they tried to stop Magallanes from publicly urinating in the park.

He was convicted of battery causing substantial bodily harm.

He disappeared while on probation in August 2017.

P&P says he has four prior convictions and a history of substance abuse. Given his criminal history, P&P considers Magallanes high risk.

It’s suspected that he is still in the Reno area.

Magallanes is 5’9”, 150 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

He has tattoos of a dragon and the word ‘soto’ on his left arm.

If you know where he is called the Fugitive Apprehension Unit at 684-2644.
