Scooter is a goofy happy-go-lucky two-year-old Dachshund Mix looking for a family who likes to snuggle and has plenty of time to care for him.
He is paralyzed from the waist down and loves to roll around in his wheelchair like a little superhero!
He is very social and loves humans. Scooter will follow his guardian around the house. He also enjoys getting his neck scratched and going on hikes in his little backpack.
Scooter arrived at the SPCA of Northern Nevada in February and has been patiently looking for an adopter ever since.
Scooter has some bladder issues and needs a special diet. Scooter is available for Foster-to-Adopt, which means interested adopters will have the opportunity to learn his care before committing to adopt.
