A portion of Highway 50 west near Spooner Summit was closed on Thursday so a medical helicopter could land to pick up a patient.
The closure started around 12:15 p.m. for the impromptu landing zone so that the patient could be moved from a trail.
Drivers are urged to use caution in the surrounding area.
