UPDATE: The lock down at Fernley High School is lifted.
Lyon County School District officials say it was lifted shortly before 1:30 p.m. when school normally releases. Buses are on a normal schedule.
Law enforcement determined it was safe to have the students leave. They were there while students left.
The District says there is no evidence to show there was any validity to the call.

Fernley High School is on a precautionary lock down.
School officials say this afternoon, the office received an "anonymous, ambiguous phone call alleging possible harmful action against the school."
The school administration immediately called the local law enforcement who were on scene.
Classes are still in instruction.
The school administration is in contact with local law enforcement and will notify when the investigation is complete and the precautionary lock down is lifted.
