Reno City Council to Vote on Virginia Street Bridge Color Scheme

The Reno City Council will vote on the final color scheme for the Virginia Street Bridge on Wednesday.

The rails will be one of four shades of gray, with different options for the sidewalks and three choices for the color of the arches. The arches have been constructed. Now crews are preparing it to slide across the river and put into place. That is expected to begin, Monday.

The project manager says the work is on time and under budget.

The main structure of the bridge should be in place in November and is expected to be completed by May 1.
