Once again officials are asking people to be safe in the water. Firefighters say the Truckee River is still running fast - and cold.
They have a few tips for people getting into the water.
Always were a life jacket, warm clothes and sturdy shoes.
Do not drink alcohol or use drugs before getting into the river.
Never go into the water alone and let someone know when you plan to return home so they can call if something happens.
