Reno Man Sentenced to Prison for Meth Possession

Francisco Fuentes Ibarra

The Department of Justice says a Reno man has been sentenced for drug possession.

On Tuesday, a U.S. district judge sentenced 35-year-old Francisco Ibarra to 12 and a half years in prison.

He pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine and possession of at least 500 grams of a substance containing it.

Prosecutors say almost a 1,000 grams of the drug were found in his vehicle along with a firearm back in August of last year.
