Reno Airport Passenger Numbers, Economic Impact Sky-High

Officials with the Reno-Tahoe International Airport say they will be conducting a routine safety and security drill on Tuesday, beginning in the morning until 2 p.m.

They said the exercise will take place at various locations around the airport.

They said travelers may see additional security personnel throughout the day, but no operational delays or interruptions are expected.

They said although the Reno-Tahoe International Airport Authority involves the community in the airport's triennial disaster drill, the event is not open to the public.
