Renown Health says it is treating a patient with a form of enterovirus. Representatives say it's not confirmed to be the D68 strain.
Representatives say enterovirus is common with many different strains. Patients are routinely tested for the virus based on signs and symptoms.
They say the Washoe County Health District has been notified of the case and that Renown Health workers are testing the virus strain, and add they don't know how long it will take or when results will be available.
No other information was immediately released.
