Rolling Hills Fire Near Galena Now 100% Contained

Truckee Meadows Fire Protection District says the Rolling Hills Fire near Mt. Rose Highway is now fully contained, after breaking out around 7:30 a.m. Friday near Mt. Rose Hwy., and Edmonton Dr., north of Galena High School.

Evacuations have been lifted for Telluride Dr., Solitude, Thomas Creek Rd., Deer Valley Ct., Wedge Parkway and Boulder Patch. 

The following Washoe County parks are closed: Bowers Regional, Davis Creek Regional, Galena Creek Regional, and Bartley Ranch Regional.
