Along with several area school delays, many state offices will also open late due to the snow.
Governor Steve Sisolak has ordered that all state government in Carson City, Washoe County and Douglas County are set to open at 10 a-m.
Governor Sisolak is urging state employees to plenty of time to safely commute to work.
UPDATE: Due to inclement weather the following schools will be on a two-hour delay:

Academy for Career Education (ACE) High School is on a delayed start Tuesday. All classes will meet at their campus on Vassar Street with 1st period starting at 9 a.m.
All schools in the Lake Tahoe Unified School District in South Lake Tahoe are closed for Tuesday, February 5 due to the weather.
All Carson City schools will be closed for Tuesday as well.
The Carson City School District says no student activities or programs will occur on Tuesday, including after school programs, practices, performances, contests and interscholastic athletic events. No school services such as transportation, nutrition or student health will be provided on Tuesday.
The Douglas County School District says Zephyr Cove Elementary and George Whittell High School will be closed on Tuesday. They said all valley schools will be on a 90-minute delayed start.
