A local middle school student wrapped up his school year by helping out the Washoe County Sheriff's Office K9 unit.
The competition between northern Nevada K9 units happened at Fuji Park, and competition events included detection, patrol and obstacle/ability.
The public is invited to come and meet the K9 unit for Washoe County Sheriff's Office.
The competition consisted of three courses, Detection, Patrol, and Obstacle/Agility.
This week's Someone 2 Know is an organization formed in 2016 to support the K9 unit for Washoe County Sheriff's Office.
