Travel will be impacted this week along our mountain passes, especially in Mono and Alpine counties. Snow is also possible along Mt. Rose Highway and Donner, but amounts will be lighter to the north.

Gusty winds 30 to 40 mph return Monday afternoon along with low humidity and very dry conditions that will give us a red flag warning from noon until 8pm.
High pressure can be a negative thing during the wintertime, especially if an inversion sets up.
