Mark Wellman is internationally recognized for being the first paraplegic athlete to climb the sheer rock cliffs of El Capitan in Yosemite.  

The City of Sparks is hosting the annual "Mark Wellman's Adventure Day" at the Sparks Marina on Sunday. They say a variety of adaptive sports will be featured for people with disabilities. 

People with disabilities and their friends and family members are invited to explore a variety of sports at Mark Wellman's Adventure Day event at the Sparks Marina this Sunday.

This weekend at the Sparks Marina, there is a special opportunity for people with disabilities to explore adventure sports that they often times do not get the chance to try.

This Sunday, people with disabilities, along with family and friends can have some outdoor fun at the city of Sparks Adventure Day.
