Possible 9-1-1 issues for Voice over Internet Protocol type phones may arise across multiple cities and states for callers.

The Storey County Sheriff's Office says Wednesday's emergency phone issue has been fixed. 

Nevada AG Aaron D. Ford joined a national effort to stop illegal robocalls, warning 37 voice providers to comply with federal rules.  

The front desk at the Reno Police Department will be closed to the public temporarily while the staff transitions the desk over to the new Public Safety Center.

Spectrum services have been restored after technical crews worked overnight to repair the fiber damage.
