Reno led early in the game, but stumbled late as an eighth inning home run handed the Aces a loss against the Tacoma Rainiers on Saturday night.
Tied at five in the bottom of the ninth, Cooper Hummel began Reno’s rally with a single and later advanced to third courtesy of a deep flyout from Corbin Carroll. Garrett stepped up to the plate and ended the game with a sacrifice fly to right that plated Hummel and completed the comeback.

Nevada scored twice in the top of the ninth, and had the tying run in scoring position, but the comeback attempt fell short in a 7-6 loss at Arizona Friday.
Thursday's contest was a makeup of March 5's postponed contest at Air Force, with the Falcons serving as the designated home team. The teams will begin the regularly-scheduled Nevada home series Friday at 1 p.m.
Wednesday at Greater Nevada Field, the Pack used a four-run eighth to tie it up at 8-8 with Oregon State, but fell in the end, 9-8.
Nevada nearly completed one of the greatest comebacks in program history Tuesday night at Greater Nevada Field, coming all the way back to take a one-run lead after trailing No. 2 Oregon State, 11-0, but ultimately falling, 14-13, in 11 innings.
