Caltrans says a portion of I-80 has reopened near Gold Run due to a semi-truck fire. Black smoke could be seen on CHP's Dutch Flat camera.Â
The fire was reported just after 11:30 a.m. on Monday.Â
Caltrans says the fire has spread into nearby brush and is currently less than an acre in size.Â
Cleanup is still ongoing on I-80 near Gold Run from a big rig fire. Traffic congestion is bad both EB/WB. Alternate routes are advised for Sierra travel. pic.twitter.com/XWnTlrmJcw
