Shuttered River Inn Along Truckee River Sells for $852,000

The historic River Inn in Reno has been sold, according to Washoe County Assessor records.

The property, originally called Lawton Hot Springs, has been closed for decades, along west 4th Street. It originally opened as Granite Hot Springs in the 1870s, right along the Truckee River. 

River Currents LLC bought the property in December 2020 for $852,000.

There's no immediate word from the company on what they plan to do with the property, but on their website, it says they’re looking to restore the property.
