Original Story: Crews are responding to a fire in the Spanish Springs area on Thursday afternoon.
The Sierra Front Interagency Dispatch Center says it's near Disc Drive off Pyramid Highway and is 18 acres large so far.
They said the Kohls Fire is under the Bureau of Land Management's jurisdiction.
Truckee Meadows Fire & Rescue says no structures are threatened.
Drivers are advised to avoid the area and watch out for smoke and emergency vehicles.
There's no word on the cause of the fire at this time.
