Small Fire By Paradise Park In Reno

A wildland fire is under investigation after it broke out Thursday afternoon south of Reno in the area of Rosachi Ranch near Yerington.

The Elbow Fire started around 12:15 p.m. on Thursday. 

The U.S. Forest Service along with Smith Valley fire volunteers helped keep the fire to less than acre. 

There's no immediate word on if any structures were threatened.
