Getting your pet to a vaccine clinic is challenging now, but the SPCA of Northern Nevada has you covered.
SPCA officials say they've decided to keep their vaccine clinic up and running during the pandemic. They say that by keeping the clinic open, it will protect pets, and often times humans too, from infectious diseases, like rabies, parvo, feline leukemia and more.Â
The SPCA only wants you to walk inside when you have to check in or check out your pet, otherwise they ask that you wait in your car.Â
The vaccine clinic is open on Saturdays and Sundays by appointment only.
According to the clinic's website, a $15 deposit will be required for each animal. All deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.
At this time, the SPCA of Northern Nevada is the only organization in Reno providing a low-cost vaccine program.Â
