San Francisco 49ers coach Kyle Shanahan held his first news conference of training camp, saying he is nearly fully recovered from the car crash that has limited him this summer and is ready to coach the team’s first exhibition game on Thursday night. Shanahan has been working his way back to full speed since the car crash on July 14 that left him with a concussion, broken ribs, a broken nose, a broken hand and more than 40 stitches to close a cut over his eye. He is close to fully recovered with just a few symptoms from the concussion.
