This is another great weekend for family fun. Not only are there haunted houses, and pumpkin patches to check out, there are fundraisers and contests and zombies too. That's right it's a seriously Halloweeny Kind of Weekend on tap. The annual Zombie Crawl will bring hundreds of frightening creatures to downtown Reno. And you can bet they'll be loud enough to re-animate the dead! Fantasies in Chocolate will raise money for local charities and scholarships in an elegant way. And the Pumpkinpalooza at Victorian Square on Sunday will celebrate the gourd of the season. Enjoy!

This starts with a mob performance of Thriller under the arch at 7pm then the Zombies spread and crawl through downtown Reno. There are 50 bars on the route this year. And zombies of all kinds are welcome.
Fantasies in Chocolate at the Grand Sierra
This year's Fantasies in Chocolate will focus on the dark side of the holidays and the chocolate sculptures. Instead of just an elegant evening out with champagne and dinner and lots of chocolate, this year's event will double as a costume ball. Doors open at 6:30.

Run for Education Legends at Sparks Marina
This annual event brings in runners and families from every school in the district. And those schools taking part with enough participants enjoy the profits. It's all at the Legends at the Sparks Marina and the opening ceremonies start at 7:30 a.m.
Pumpkinpalooza Victorian Square Sparks
The Pumpkinpalooza is back and again it will celebrate all things Pumpkin. It starts at 11 am and goes until 5 and will include everything from pumpkin carving to a pumpkin derby to mummy wrapping!
Nevada Dance Academy
The Nevada Dance Academy will be raising money this weekend for scholarships at their school. It's located at 1790 W Fourth Street and it goes from 11-4.
