Lyon County School District students will start school on Wednesday, August 21 as well as the Lander County School District.
Douglas County students are mostly back on Monday except for Whittell High School ans Zephyr Cove Elementary which are back in school on Monday, August 26th.
Several other schools starts on August 26th:

- Humboldt County School District
- White Pine School District
- Elko County School District
- Eureka County School District
Most of Washoe County started their 2019-2020 school year on August 12th. Lincoln County started their school on August 13th.
Tahoe Truckee Unified School District starts Tuesday, September 3rd.
Truckee Meadows Community College starts their fall semester on August 26th.
