A location that had been serving a Mediterranean menu for a decade will soon be serving Filipino fare.
Lolo's Filipino Restaurant & Lounge is replacing the Naan & Kabab which had been there since 2009.
Located across from the Peppermill, it closed at the end of last year.
The previous owner said he was happy with the success they had but he said it's time for new owners to take over.
"They're putting a lot of time and energy making the place look beautiful and I hope Reno will support them as good as they supported me.”
Chef Maurice says he's considering writing a memoir about his 60 years in the restaurant business.
Lolo’s will feature Filipino food, karaoke and dancing.
Lolo’s plans to open January 25th.
