Rounds Bakery to Close Moana Retail Location, Focus on Commercial Bakery

Rounds Bakery says it will close its Moana Lane retail location on July 17th to focus on its fresh-packed food business and commercial bakery.

The decision was announced on Tuesday in response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

"As much as we love offering fresh bagels from our beautiful bread basket, we must socially distance, and our retail model does not support that right now. We take this virus seriously and public health is paramount. We are not contracting—we are expanding. We are absorbing all employees into the prepackaged fresh division and we can happily say you will still be able to get all the yummy things you have come to know and dearly love," says Anton Novak.

They plan to now sell bagels, loaf bread, pastries, and its #notacronut at several area retailers. They will still offer online sales with delivery.

Rounds Bakery opened 30 years ago.
