South Lake Tahoe Mayor Pro Tem Cody Bass was arrested during an incident in Stateline last month.

It happened on September 26 around 1 a.m. at AleWorX in Stateline, according to a release from the Douglas County Sheriff's Office.

Bass was booked into the Douglas County Jail on misdemeanor charges of assault, trespassing, and threats/harassment.

The assault, trespassing, and harassment charges stem from an argument last month.

After his arrest, Bass posted a $1,978 bond and was released around 4:35 a.m.

He was provided a court date to appear before the Tahoe Justice Court for arraignment on December 22.

Bass was also arrested in 2021 after CHP troopers pulled him over after authorities say he showed some signs of intoxication near the Meyers Agricultural Station.

At the time, CHP said they found substances believed to be cocaine and meth in the car.

We’ve reached out to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office for more information, but haven’t yet heard back.
