UPDATE:Â The Washoe County District Attorney's Office says they have sentenced 56-year-old Jeffery Fluckiger to 271 years in prison for multiple counts of sexual assault against a child under 14, lewdness with a child and production and possession of child pornography.
Fluckiger must serve consecutive life sentences before parole eligibility, so he has no chance of parole.
The Washoe County District Attorney's Office says a Reno man will be sentenced next January after being convicted last week on 17 counts of child sexual abuse.Â
In total, 56-year-old Jeffrey Lynn Fluckiger faces the possibility of multiple consecutive terms of life in prison, after a four-day jury trial in Washoe County District Court.Â
Authorities say in July 2017, a 14-year-old girl reported that she had been sexually abused for the past five years and an investigation led them to Fluckiger.
Detectives arrested 55-year-old Jeffrey Lynn Fluckiger after searching his home and business.
Prosecutors said Fluckiger recorded some of the incidents with the victim.
