The Carson City School District will have an early release day on Wednesday for all Carson City schools.
On April 22, high schools will let out at 11:40 a.m., while middle schools will let out at noon, elementary schools will be dismissed at 12:40 p.m., and pre-k will release at 10:55 a.m.
Early release days are designed to provide educators and staff with professional development and collaboration time while students have the remainder of the day off, according to a release from the CCSD.
