Organizers of the Wild Wild West Nevada Day celebration are making schedule adjustments to their event.

The changes are to better the experience of all attendees, according to Nevada Day, Inc.

The event is on November 1 at 10 a.m. in Carson City.

The schedule starts at 6 a.m. for the Hot Air Balloon preparations with a scheduled launch at 8 a.m., celebrating Nevada's heritage.

Also starting at 8 a.m., vendors, local artists, and food trucks will line up on Telegraph Street, Proctor Street, and the 3rd Street Parking Lot.

Nevada Day, Inc. says, "The event will have handcrafted goods, local eats, and family-friendly activities, creating a lively and festive atmosphere for all ages to enjoy throughout the day."

The World Championship Single Jack Rock Drilling Contest will start around 10:00 a.m., showcasing the skills of participants.

Also, starting promptly at 10 a.m., the Nevada Day Parade will take off, featuring this year’s Grand Marshal Bob Tallman and the U.S. Capitol Christmas Tree, Silver Belle.

Following the parade at Carson City Toyota, the People’s Tree can be seen up close, while having the opportunity to sign the official banner that's travelling to Washington, D.C, according to organizers.

The viewing of the People's Tree is happening from 1 p.m. through 3 p.m.

Also happening, the Nevada Day Beard Contest returns at 2:00 p.m. on the McFadden Plaza Stage at 3rd Street.
