The Nevada Highway Patrol (NHP) has released the name of the man killed in a crash at Pyramid Way near Los Altos Parkway on Friday morning. He is 36 year old Juan Munoz of Sparks
Officials said an older model Chevy pickup was going southbound on Pyramid and for an unknown reason, it veered left and hit the left rear of a Toyota pickup.
They said the Chevy went over a raised median and went into the northbound travel lane.
NHP says it was hit by a commercial vehicle after that.
The roads were reopened at 8 a.m.
NHP does not believe alcohol or speed were factors.
