On Friday, a couple was gifted with a car from a local mechanic as part of an annual giveaway.
Mark and Dana Appel now have a car thanks to the Auto and Tire Doctor.
The family’s cars broke down...causing the family to be apart while Mark worked at the Squaw Valley ski resort.
“It is such a relief. Not only did one car blow up, but both of our cars blew up and I live up on Donner Summit and I have been couch surfing,” says Mark and Dana Appel.
