Washoe County is working on the library system budget for the 2027 fiscal year.
At a meeting on Wednesday, the Library Board of Trustees and the Office of the County Manager outlined a plan based on budget needs for the library system.
The board will give feedback based on recommendations it receives in September and October.
Then, on October 15, the board will decide on what action will be taken.
The board did confirm there will be no changes from now through June of next year.
