As an eighth generation member of an Italian circus dynasty - our Someone 2 Know has traveled the world since birth, but for most of this year, Clio Togni has been right here in Reno performing in the Cirque Paris show at the Eldorado.

The water bowl performance is a showstopper. But elaborate circus acts are nothing new for this young artist; "I just grew up in circus, my parents were artist,” Clio explains. “We traveled all over the place."

The Italian Togni circus dynasty got its start in the 1800s. Today there are thousands of Togni performers all over the world.

Clio developed her act by combining her specialized skill in handstands with her love of water; "...when I met my husband, we decided to tour together, so we had to combine it in a way that we could sell it."

The water bowl act is a love story...at times erotic and at other moments - very sweet.

Clio's artistic abilities - and beauty - are mesmerizing, but she says it's something else that sets her apart from the other Tognis; "I'm sort of the back sheep, because I'm going to law school,” laughs Clio.

Clio Togni THE LAW STUDENT has been focusing all her spare energy on becoming an attorney. She's currently an intern at Washoe County's Family Court.

Jackie Bryant is the Clerk Of Court for the Second Judicial District Court; "Her work product is absolutely fantastic. It is as good as some attorneys that I've seen."

"Since I was 12 I had to start dealing with contracts because I started working when I was 13 to 14, and it got me intrigued," shares Clio.

Clio will graduate from law school next year, until then she says she wants to learn all she can during her internship while in Nevada; “Mostly a lot of research, which I love doing research an whatever I can help out with - with any department."

Bryant is a fan of Togni’s legal work; "She really has become part of the court family, we will be very sad when she leaves in November."

That's when the water bowl performance moves on to Germany. As for the future..."Well, I can't do this forever, the body is gonna get rusty at some point,” laughs Clio.

You can catch Clio's performance in the show CIRQUE PARIS - playing at the Eldorado until November 11, 2018.
