A new mobile app from the U.S. Postal Service gives customers the ability to preview their incoming mail and track package deliveries directly from their phones.
The Informed Delivery app, now available nationwide, expands on the free USPS service that already lets users digitally preview letter-sized mail before it arrives.
The app also allows customers to manage and track packages, receive delivery notifications, and add security features like biometric login.
Customers can access Informed Delivery through the app, email notifications, or online at informeddelivery.usps.com.
Features of the app include push notifications for mail and package updates, barcode scanning for enhanced tracking, and the option to share delivery statuses with others. Users can also interact with and manage incoming mail straight from their mobile device.
