State officials are investigating what they're calling a questionable increase in PUA claims.
The Department of Employment, Training and Rehabilitation says that there were more than 57,000 first time claims last week - a 360% or 45,000 claim jump.
DETR says it’s looking into data to try and find any potential trend related to the increases.
The PUA program is meant to help contract or gig workers access unemployment benefits during the pandemic.
