Hawaii's Kilauea Volcano erupts with lava (no sound)

The Kilauea volcano began to erupt again Friday morning. USGS said the lava began to erupt at 5:13 a.m. local time and lava fountains reached a maximum heights of up to 1000 feet. Since December 23, 2024 this is the 22nd time the volcano has erupted. The most recent eruption was back on May 11 and the fountain phase lasted for eight hours.
