Hormone Replacement shortage affecting women nationwide
A nationwide shortage of estrogen patches used for Hormone Replacement Therapy has prompted many women to look for alternatives to treat menopause symptoms. Prescriptions for HRT have increased 86% from about mid-2021 to late last year, according to one survey. But as Stephanie Stahl tells us, finding the popular estrogen patches is tricky now.
