The Food Bank of Northern Nevada is looking for volunteers to participate in a poverty simulation exercise.Â
The simulation is part of a larger meeting with thirteen western regional Food Banks to create an "eye-opening experience that creates empathy and understanding for those living in poverty."
About 100 volunteers are needed for this activity which will take place on Wednesday, May 4th from 8:15 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Food Bank of Northern Nevada Donald W. Reynold Distribution Food Center. All volunteers will receive a complimentary lunch after the simulation.Â
